Lobster Delicacies Taste Best when Served Fresh

Are you a gourmand who loves seafood? If yes, then you must love lobster dishes. The sea has to offer a wide array of delicacies like prawns, shrimps, and different sorts of fish, calamari, oysters, mussels, clams and various other delights. Among these delicacies, lobsters are probably the most delicious. 

There are various ways in which you can cook lobster. You can steam them, bake them, grill them and prepare them in different ways. One of the tastiest portions of a lobster is its tail. Therefore if you really like lobsters you must try out lobster tail recipes. 

Cooking lobsters is now easier than you thought it would be.  You can now whip up lobster tails and fresh new recipes in your very own kitchen. All you have to do is follow a recipe and use good lobsters to make them.  Here are a few recipes you can try and make all by yourself. Now you do not have to go to the restaurant every time you want to savor the delicate taste of lobsters. Just follow a few easy recipes. Here’s how you can make a good Steamed Lobster Salad.

You will require:

  • 1 sliced red onion
  • 2 steamed, medium sized lobsters
  • 2 sliced ribs of celery
  • 1 pound of overripe tomatoes
  • 2 cloves of sliced garlic
  • ½ a cup of virgin olive oil
  • 20 leaves of mint
  • 15 leaves of basil
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 fistful of washed and dried arugula
To prepare this fresh recipe first, take the lobster meat of the lobster and slice them into pieces of size ½ inch. Then mix the lobster with the rest of the ingredients in a medium sized bowl and season it as per your requirements. Serve this on some lettuce and enjoy the salad.

If you want to prepare lobster tails in a different way, you can try making A Lobster Tail and Prawn Salad with Green Mangoes and a Chili-Lime Dressing. For this dish you will require:

  • The juice of 2 limes
  • 2 minced chilies
  • The juice of 1 lemon
  • White pepper, freshly ground and salt
  • 2 cups of olive oil, extra-virgin
  • 4 peeled and julienned mangoes
  • 12 peeled, deveined and cooked prawns
  • 3 shelled and cooked Maine Lobster tails, cut lengthwise
  • 4 ounces of fresh julienned snow peas
  • For garnish julienned and fried leeks and chopped cilantro
To make this fresh dish, first, make the dressing by mixing all the ingredients in a blender. Then place it in a bowl. Toss in the mangoes and then, serve the mango salad on chilled plates. Top each serving with 2 prawns and ½ a lobster tail. Garnish with fried leeks and cilantro.
These two dishes make yummy appetizers and can also be served as an entrée. They are fresh and delicious.
